Something to think about

As you all know we have to have a cat and a muffler. the other day i was at a local car show/get together. a guy in a custom bike had a sbc 350 sitten between his legs! looked like there wasnt any cat or muffler.

who is that legal???

I've seen a bike like that up around here at college. Aren't they called a Boss Hog or something. One bad bike.
Seems as though bikes have different laws. They're loud as hell and come like that from the factory. Some sound just like open headers.

I think it's Boss Hoss, IIRC.

Since they aren't a 'mass production' motorcycle, they probably don't have to meet any requirements.

Actually, I think the only provision on motorcycles is noise level. But don't quote me on that!!

Yes they are Boss Hoss. They have both V6 and V8s. The V8's range from a 350 up to a 502. They are IMO the most comfortable and smooth riding bike around. I just dont want to fork out 65k for a bike. Here in CA bikes dont have emmisions just the noise level, and that is only if they catch you reeming it.
