Longtubes for carb'd '82?

I am looking for some affordable 1 5/8's primary w/3" collector longtube headers for my carbureted '82. I don't have any emissoins equipment or computer controls. I am not finding any in my Summit catalog. Any ideas??

Thanks-

there are only 2 long tube headers you can get for a 3rd gen.....hedman 1 5/8 and hooker 1 3/4. the headmans are about $100 and i hear some say they fit great and i hear some say they don't. if all you need is 1 5/8 primaries then i say gor for the headmans and do a little modifications to make em work if needed. the 1 3/4 hookers are about $400 and they fit great with the exception of the starter. you'll need to run either an lt1 starter with a small diameter flexplate or an s-10 starter with a large diameter flexplate

I have the Hedman 1 5/8 on my 82 Z28 and they fit with no problem. They were around $100 new. The part # is 68460 and I got mine from Jeg's. I am running 3" dual exhaust with an H Pipe and 1 chamber Flowmasters and they sound awesome. For some reason the clip in my sig has stopped working, but if you want it I'll E mail it to you.

Thanks for the info and part #! I think I'll stick with the small primaries for the cost. I would like to hear the sound clip as well.
