ok, Would i be a moron for wanting to take off the stock exhaust on my 85z and swap it for an 86 3" system? the parts would be from summit or jegs and i would buy Hooker super comp headers w/ A.I.R and 02 sensor, high flow cat and american thunder cat-back... they WOULD fit right onto an 95 carbed car??? Or am i just talking Any help appreciated

 

I assume you mean 85 and not 95 as you stated both. I have read that the only difference between 85 and the later years is the way that the cat bolts up so if you are using all 86 parts everything should bolt up. People also use the catbacks for 86+ on 85s by just cutting of the bolt flanges and having the pipes welded together.
