Want to put a better muffler.

A while back my muffler started to go and was really loud. It sound really awesome (some of the time) until the tear became a big hole in the muffler. I took it to Meinke and they replace it for 71.89 along with a lifetime warrenty. Which I love them for.

the thing is that I like the loud exhuast sound. not to loud, but it made it sound like it had a lot more then it did.

Could you manly men give me some advice. I know what a flowmaster is cause my friend has one on her 2001 TA RAM-AIR. It sounds like it's growling.

The guy at meinke told me I shouldn't because my engine isn't right for one. It's a v6 2.8 lt.

What are the different type of exhaust system out there that I can?

I want to pull up next to a little neon and scare it....

you really can't go wrong with any of the major brand cat backs, edelbrock, hooker, flowmaster, etc.....

since you are trying to go for the growl sound, I'd suggust flowmaster, even though they aren't my taste

Just so you know. You will not get the sound that that 2001 T/A has out of your v6. I was just reading another post and people were saying that the dynomax catback sounds best on the v6 though.

I would go with flowmaster, they sound pretty good on a v6.
