Edelbrock collector gaskets

On my edelbrock headers, I find myself replacing donut gaskets weekly. The donut gaskets that I buy for the header to ypipe simply keep blowing out. I was told that there are copper donut gaskets that are made that I can find in summit, but I was wondering if there was a part number for the gasket. Hopefully I won't have to replace these as often. Thank you for any help.

I was in the same boat as you. I called Jegs for some copper ones and they sent me a pack of 2 Edelbrock ones, I don't think they're copper, maybe aluminum, but now seems like my header gasket is blown.

Hit your local NAPA store and get a pair of part# F7139. These are 2-1/4" aluminized donuts, super tough and fit both Edelbrock and SLP header collectors perfectly. Cheap, too...only $5 each or so.

I thought edelbrock gaskets were 2.5 inches? How would a 2 1/4 inch gaskets work.

Beleive me, Jegs sent me 2.5" donuts and they were too big. You need 2.25".

That would be incorrect. 2-1/4" would work because that's what size the Edelbrock TES header primary is.
