nice shiney stainless steel headers?

nice shiney stainless steel headers?

I cant seem to find a set of headers for my car (non emmisions) that when i fire it up they turn that cool looking blue ..(lol..i think im the only one that likes the blue thing) i got an 86' camaro 5.7 carb.

Basically, your not, at least not that I know of. What you need to get is a set of headers and have them chromed. I don't think there are any companies that make Chrome headers for 3rd gens.. The chrome is what gives it that blue tint when they get hot.

About the same (perhaps slightly less) than getting them ceramic coated. Ceramic coating actually has some performance benefits in addition to corrosion protection and appearance, unlike chrome.

Interesting you're looking for an effect that hot rodders and bikers have been trying to avoid for decades.

Well, need to back-track a little here. Edelbrock makes TES with chrome/nickel plating, p/n EDL-68721. $337.95 from Summit vs. $315.95 for unplated EDL-6872.

Biggest problem is they are TES...

hehe yeah im going for the much avoided blue header .. the best part is when you fire it up the first time with them on and watch them turn colors kinda neat looking ..dunno why i like it

I know summit has some I think there called thorley headers. I think there chrome maybe, but I dunno if they make them for thirdgens or not.
