exhaust for 305

what are the cheapest headers for a 305 if you want to keep it emissions legal. Does anyone have an idea of price and where to get them

Look in summit or jegs, they have a ton and a half of headers by several different manufacturers, both emissions-legal and otherwise.

I think hedmans would be the cheapest, about $100 for headers and $100 for the y-pipe.

Flowtech's are excellent quality for the price. They don't have AIR injection, but to be 49 state legal, apparently you don't need it.

I know, I know, call me a fool, but I used the stock L69 exhaust (same manifolds as the L98, huge y-pipe and intermediate--bigger than the after market catback I once had). Cost? Junkyard cheap. By the way, should you decide to go with headers, choose the ones for the L69, not the LG4.
