When I was trailering my car to the shop to do my engie swap my cat hit a lip on the trailer and conveniently popped the heat sheild off the bottom of the cat.

it didnt bend it much, can I bang a dent out and re-attatch it somehow.

I wouldnt think I could just leave it off.

 

mine was off for about a week before I cut the whole cat off

 

How's that motor swap going man?

 

car is sittin rite now with no motor in it, the engine is in the middle of the build, should be nice, 383 with the LT1 intake.

 

i ripped off the shield when it was rattling.
