Exhaust options

Lookin to re-do the exhaust on my 83 trans am, heres what i was thinking, few options here, dunno what to do, / whats best / other people's opinion

Set of headers - Hedman,no AIR or any of that emmision crapjust plain ceramic coated headers

now...

Hooker cat back with 2.5" Y-pipe or 3"

or, i was thinking on running true duals, i know an exhaust shop that will bend them up for me,, now if i ran true duals you think it would be wise to run say dynomax bullet's?

any opinions?

Well what are you planning on doing with the car powerwise? Are you going to build a monster or just a mild performer? Those are the things to think of when buying an exhaust. Buy what is best for what you have planned even if its not best with what you have. Now if I didn't have emissions I would go with the true dual. You can use the bullet mufflers or you could use Flowmaster 40s. Are you planning to dump it or run it straight?

I'd go for duals, no matter what as long as you don't have emissions and it's not too pricey for you. But if you're content on single and like said, not building a monster, I'd get the Hooker cat-back with 3" y-pipe.

im not building a monster motor, i got the crate motor for now, it makes awesome power, but nothing to drastic, but i do prefer good ol true duals, but the easier way is to get the hooker cat back,,true duals might be just a pain, if it were true duals i would dump it out the back...
