help choosing headers and exhaust
i just recently got a 82 z28 w/350 auto. someone put full length headers on so now i have a major exhaust leak. and it has a single pipe running to a flowmaster muffler. the pipe looks like its only 2in wide. i was thinking of putting super comp shorties to 3in dual pipes out the rear and possibly 2 flowmasters if i can get them to fit. what do ya'll think. and plus how much HP do ya'll think i should be making with the set up i've got.
350 w/ dart 2 heads, cam(not sure of brand, but the size is 305 w/540 lift? or 490 lift?, edelbrock performer rpm intake and edelbrock 750 carb. what do ya'll think. not sure on all specifications of the motor yet, but if i can help with any other info lemme know. as far as i know the motor has never been stroked or bored or anything and im not sure what kinda comp. i have.
thanks,
jonathan

Duals have and can be done. Not in emissions inspection areas, though.
If you really do the duals thing, keep the long tube headers. The Super Comp 2055 shorties would be a complete waste of money, because you will be throwing away the most expensive part - the y-pipe.
If you want shorties and full duals, use the 2460's. They don't have a y-pipe, and have a better collector design. Cost >$200 less than the 2055's.
