Here's the thing. I'm dropping in the new 383 in about a week, looking for between 350-400hp and 400-450Tq. I've got shirties, custom y-pipe, 3" muffler where the cat was, straight 3" to the tips.

My question is this: Do I get the header welded if I can and reassemble the exhaust like this, or do I go for long tubes and a short set of duals? Also, I suppose I could just get a new set of shorties and a new Ypipe too.
