closest y-pipe for Hooker 2460

Hi all,
MY question is I have a set of Hooker Headers p/n 2460-1 and to get a customer y-pipe made it will not be mandrel bent. I was thinking of buying a SLP or other brand name y-pipe that is completely mandrel bent and just cutting off their collectors and welding on the Hooker collectors. My question is , are there any y-pipes that are close to the fitment of the hooker headers and only slight modification (cutting & welding) of the two pipes going to the headers out there? I looked at the SLP and was thinking it may work. I'm just wondering if anyone had done this, has noticed that certain y-pipes come close to fit these headers but don't without mods...any help would be great. Thanks.

Find another shop that will do mandrel bends. By the time you bastardize the SLP pipe, you'll have as much spent as you would have by having a real shop mandrel bend you a real y-pipe.

Just curious, why did you go with the 2460's instead of the 2055's, which come with a mandrel-bent y-pipe?

Thanks five-7, I'll look around and see if I can find a shop that'll do that. All I found so far are exhaust shops that do non-mandrel bends.

I got these headers dirt cheap and they are ceramic coated.

Thanks again.
