Has any one had problems with longtube headers hitting the k-member?? If so how did you overcome this?

My hedman long tubes clear everything but the k-member. I was thinking of using spacers under the motor mounts for clearance. I lnow this is not the best way to do this but i'm getting desperate to finnish the install!

 

highhat, havent seen any updates on the header install lately. I am installing the same headers on my 90 GTA, is it not working out so good .I was kinda hoping it wouldnt be to bad, keep me posted.Thanks.BTW , havent started mine yet

 

I decuded to let my exhaust shop install them(for $100) ! He sai it was probally needing motor mounts but if it does need notching i'll let ya know. its being done tommorow.

 

highhat,any word on the header install?I am still waiting for my cam and other parts before I start tearing mine down.

 

He hasn't got to it yet sigh!. But i'm hoping it'll be done early this week. I have to wait because he's doing it cheap, so he has to work it in his schedule.
