Untrue dual
What sort of flow benefit does a single-in-dual-out setup (like most V8 thirdgens seem to have) actually have over just having one outlet from the muffler? Are these just 99% for looks? Just curious.

Mostly for looks. I couldn't imagine my car with a single tailpipe that just wouldn't be right.

The ones that are made for full size trucks work rather well. Better than the crossflow ones anyway.
The ones that SLP uses (or used
) on the SS's are nothing more than the same style that GM used on the trucks. But since you don't have the odd ball route that sends the exhaust gases back toward the front of the car
, it improves flow. Maybe not a drastic amount, but enough to shred some meats.
