Side Exhaust
I just thought about my exhaust recently and I would like to know what kinds of bends i will need if I run Dual Exhaust with Hedman #48460 Headers. The passenger side coolector is extremely close to the frame and i don't know how i'm going to get around it. I plan on doing an exhaust like CARNDRV but i don't know how i'm going to route the pipes. Please help.

I had the same problem with my Heddmans, my sponsor had the car for a week-end result was ****!!! They ran the 2.5" duals with a tweak down, then 90 degree bend into another 90 degree bend, with the mufflers suspended under the rear floor boards. Mufflers drag on full tank of fuel + passenger + small bump. After the cars painted and the 350 trans is in, I'm gonna see if there's anymore clearance and have someone else redo it. I looked at the twin pipes coming outta the pass. side and it looks sweet. I might have to do something different on my car as it's a 86 bird with no ground FX to help hide the pipes. Right now I have the whole exhaust painted with header paint to make it not stick out like a sore thumb.
