Sandblasting headers

I have some rusty SLP headers. I want to blast the old paint and rust off before applying POR20 or something equivelant.

What grit sand should I use?

Thanks,
GC

I used glass bead to do mine. Worked great. Blasted then I treated them with Oxisolve rust disolver before I painted with VHT been a few months now and everythings holding up great.

I use silica sand with my sandblaster, and it seems to work pretty well. I haven't ever done a set of headers though, so I'm not sure how it would work out.
