Yes they make one for the stock manifolds. I had one on my old 86 LB9 but did'nt notice much ( if any ) improvement in power.

will the y pipe made for the slp headers fit the stock manifolds? i was thinking of getting slp headers but if i could buy the y pipe and put that on while saving almost 500 dollars for headers that would be cool, but if you have to buy a different y pipe for headers and manifolds ill just wait and buy it all at the same time

No they are two different y-pipes. But, I just purchased a set of SLP headers and y-pipe for 379.99 from thirdgen resource.

Yes SLP makes Y-pipes to fit the stock manifolds. I have part# 31031 on my 91 RS LO3. It makes a difference in sound and performance.

How much difference did it make on your l03? I don't remember there being hardly any difference on my old car (lb9)

I put one on mine a couple of months ago. It seemed alot more responsive and it changed the exhaust tone too. The diff. between the stock Y-Pie and the SLP piece are night and day. I would like to get headers, however this was a nice alternative. Very happy with it.
