Header Install ?????s
Header Install ?????s
Hi guys, I am in the middle of putting on some Hedman shorty headers and have a question about the drivers side header. Does anyone else have the problem of the brake line being between the header and steering shaft? Did it come like that from the factory or did some idiot replace the line at some point and route them wrong?
Thanks

I just put my 68470's in and all you gotta do is move them out of the way or take your heads off, slide the headers down and away from the head then install the head and there you have it.
I have those same headers and i just took the driverside motor mount out and jacked the motor up a little and they went in with no problems. I have had them in and out 3 times and i allways did it that way. about the brake line, mine was in between the steering shaft and the header so i just bent it out of the way. After all you dont want a boiled brake fluid.
I just installed the same headers, and it is NOT necessary to lift the engine.... and DO NOT remove your heads (I'm sure that's not what he meant to say). They will drop in from the top. Just bend the flex lines coming from the booster with your hands.
