Manifold leak on the driver side? Maybe help.
Seems like I am having a lot of minor problems with my car lately but oh well whats a car without problems. It sounds like I have a leak on the driver side manifold. It kind of sounds a time bomb but a little faster. a constant ticking sound pretty much. Could that be the problem? If so is it worth fixing or should I just get new headers like I was going to? Thanks for the help.
Most likely you just need to tighten down the bolts, and/or replace the gasket. Headers would be good, but if you don't have the money or time for that at the moment, a simple gasket replacement will do just fine.

BUt does that sound like a manifold leak? If so this will be done today. Oh yea I might add that this doe not go away when driving or when car is hot. It is always there.

Well i was planning on getting hooker comp headers in a month or 2 but i guess i am getting them sooner then i would like to. But that is what the ticking sounds like? it doesnt bother me but could that be causing a little hesitation going into first off the line when i jump. If i drop or slip the clutch past 2k it doesnt hesitate but tire spin. when it bogs down like it is choking no tire spin. i need to get my carb tuned and choke adjusted also that could be causing the problem along with a squeesed fuel line.
