Edelbrock headers... will these work?

Edelbrock headers... will these work?
I am looking for a header setup that will support a 3" pipe to the muffler... then split's into 2.5 in the catback. Will this model (#6872*) work on my L03 TBI engine?? They have a model listed that will fit no question, but it's only 2.25 like stock. The model I listed is labeled for this car... IROC, Z-28, Formula 86-90 5.0/5.7L T.P.I. , 3" inlet slip-on single cat. Anyone know if this will work on my L03?? Thanks,

Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
You can use TPI headers on a TBI, but you'll be missing the thermac heat tube that goes from the header to the air cleaner. Not a big deal unless its required for smog. You can custom make one.
