I have decided to get a 2 chamber crossflow style flomaster exhaust with a bigger Y pipe, remove the cat, and have dual 3 1/2 inch tips. Do you think that will sound good? I heard a sound clip in the Movie section of Murts old Iroc with the same setup. The only difference is that i have a 350 TPI( he has the 305 TPI). I talked to the exhaust shop and i hope to get it done when i come back from vacation in the middle of next month!

 

it should sound good. have you thought about headers though?

 

Ya i thought about it but everybody has them! I might get them later cuz right now i cant aford them, Im spending $5000 and i dont even have a job yet. Its all from saving!

 

Ummmm, ok. I understand the not having the money. But there's a reason why everyone has headers. The stock manifolds and y-pipe are a joke. Headers increase HP, that's like saying everyone has a Flowmaster, it's because they're better than the stock muffler.

 

I didn't realize the stock manifold and Y pip were that bad. I guess ill get some headers as soon as i can afford them! any ideas on what brand and size?
