flowmaster qustion

im geting exaust for my 87 z28
im thinking of geting eather the 40 seires or the 80 seires
the 40 is singel outlet and the 80 is dual outlet
the 40 is a little bit loader than the 80 and i think the 2 exaust systems are similar. i no that the 80 adds an extra 30 hp and 40 ft lbs and im guseesing the 40 will do the same if u no how much it adds id like to no.
now that u no a little about them which do u think would be the better choice
i kinda like the dual exaust but was thinking if i did get the 40 i could just get the borla exaust tip which makes it like like dual exaust on the one side
so just give me your opinions

What engine u have?? And no muffler or exhaust system will add 30HP and 40TQ.

I've had both, the 40 is louder but I think the 80 has a better tone. Mind you, this was on a 350.

IMO on a car with an engine such as yours I would stay with single exhaust and go with the 80 Series or 1 of Flowmasters exhaust systems.

LOL, I thought you were talking about real dual exhaust. You are talking about dual outlet like stock. If you're just getting a muffler I would go with the 80 Series because that is what will look like that and it will sound good. I'm pretty sure the 40 will be 2 pipes on the same side unlike the 80.
