My new setup! (pics)

Here's my new exhaust set-up.... say what you will, but for the money I spent I am very happy. With the cut-out uncapped I believe it will flow more than enough to allow my mild 355 to breath.

No matter what it will be better than my LG4 manifolds!

I will be doing the install tomorrow, wish me luck!

Take off that header wrap and get those babies ceramic coated. If you mention you saw Jet-Hot's ad at camaroz28.com, you will get a 20% discount. Those header wraps will cause them to rust through very quickly.

that looks great man.......that cut out will sound mint. i will be over after work to help you bolt those on.

oh....formul8!!......i'll let JonhyIROC explain what he did to the headers and the wrap as this is his project.....but trust me.....they wont be rusting out anytime soon. also it would be way to expensive for us Canadians to send headers to Jet-Hot to get coated.

I'm not going to pay $500 to have a set of $250 headers coated. I will take that money and buy another set when they rust out in 5 years. They are coated underneath with VHT, and the wrap is sealed with Therma-Tec. The wrap is now 100% waterproof.

The main reason I wrapped them is to keep my wires and other stuff from getting fried. Decreasing underhood temps by 75% is just an added bonus.

They are the hedman shorty camaro/firebird hedders with the corresponding hedman Y-pipe. I put everything on the car today, it was VERY easy. the headers dropped right into place without lifting the engine or anything crazy. The Y-pipe bolted right up. It is LOUD with the cutout open!
