SLP cat adapter ?'s

I'm still waiting on my headers (slp) and am needing to know if I need this cat adapter to run a straight pipe to the cat back. On their website it looks like the adapter has a bend in it. If the pic is correct it looks like I'll need it to bolt up a straight pipe to connect the Y-pipe to the cat-back. Anyone have SLP's and/or know?

I just received mine .. not installed yet .. but you will need it between the Y pipe and Cat.
It may be cheaper to get it from a muffler shop.

I actually just put in my SLP 1 3/4 headers today. Basically the end of the y pipe is directed towards the back of the car running parallel to the body. The cat adaptor is a 45 degree angle bend. Depends on what kind of cat you have, but if it is slip on, i reccommend just getting a pipe from a muffler or part store. SLP wants 34 bucks for it, I got mine for 12. If youre using a factory type cat, you need the adaptor with the proper bolt pattern from SLP.
