Y-Pipe questions...
Has anyone heard of and/or tried MAC Performance's Y-Pipe?
How does it compare to SLP's Y-Pipe?
How about custom Y-Pipes, how do they compare?
What does MAC Performance's Y-Pipe cost?
Will it match up with SLP's Headers?
Thanks, answers to any or all would help a lot.

I think the one I am looking at has 2.5 inch pipes that combine into a 3 inch pipe.
Is that what you mean, or are you saying 3 inch from each header collecting into a 3 inch pipe?
I am getting the work done at Mufflex in NJ. the owner told me that they are a b!tch to build custom, and that it would be easier for me to buy one and him 'make it fit'.

If you're talking about a stock replacement y-pipe, then no, it won't match up to SLP headers.
If you're talking about a y-pipe for SLP headers, then you need to make sure you order a header y-pipe, and not a stock replacement. And, the SLP pipe is the only one that will fit to their headers.
In general, the only y-pipe that will fit to any particular set of headers is one made by the header manufacturer, or one that is custom made by an exhaust shop.
