Please look at my sig to see the specs to my car. I want headers and a y pipe. I think I would like to get ceramic coated headers....but I DO NOT need the Y pipe ceramic coated. I wouldn't mind having to pay somebody.....to get the headers ceramic coated. I would like a shorty-type header that will not give me any ground clearance problems.....like longtubes may. Also, I need an oxygen sensor.....but prefer NOT TO HAVE the A.I.R. I have heard about reducers that come with the oxygen sensor bung (So, maybe that could work....if I needed to). Lastly, I want to hook up to the factory, single catalytic converter......which getting a shop to bend me a custom one is an option. Thanks in advance for all the help and comments!

 

Hooker makes a shorty header with a y-pipe that you can get coated...I'm not sure of the part # because my friend has my Holley catalog. You ought to try out thier website @ www.holley.com
I don't think that you can get these headers without the A.I.R tubes though.

 

Hookers with the y-pipe and coated are 2055-1. They do have A.I.R. and O2. The y-pipe will be coated if you order them using that p/n.

Hooker has 2460-1 that will be shortie headers but no y-pipe is available for them. You can order them with the O2 bung. You'll have to have a y-pipe fabricated.

Order either of the above without the -1, they'll come uncoated, and you can ship the headers off to Jet Hot and have them coated.

Hedman has shortie headers and y-pipe that you order seperately. You can buy the headers coated but not the y-pipe, or send them out like above.

Is cost the reason you don't want the y-pipe coated? It's actually not a bad idea to have it coated. Corrosion protection will be much better, and heat to the oil pan and floor pan will be reduced.

You can also order the hooker supercomps (pn: 2055) straight from jet-hot and they're already coated. I'm not sure if you can order the y-pipe from them or not, but I would imagine you could.
