hey,
I have the 1 3/4 slp headers. Finishing up finally putting them on. Im looking at the air hookup. notice how there is threading on it? I was thinking just making a hook-up for inspection, then being able to just cap it off the restof the time, anyone try this yet? just wondering...

there is absolutely no dissadvantage to keeping them hooked up full time, if you hate air pumps so much you could remove the drive belt, but since you want to use it for inspection you have to have it on the car and working at some point. just connect them and save yourself the hassle. just my opinion.
