Need a suggestion!

I have all stock exhaust on my car. I can't do headers or anything right now, but wanted to get a little more from my car. What would you guys recommend for a change on the exhaust? someone round here told me x pipes, but I heard that wouldn't work on my firebird. I have a 89 Firebird with a 305 TBI. Thanks for any suggestions!

Get a cat-back system (hooker, flowmaster, dynomax, hooker, slp, ravin, hooker, etc.). If you can't tell already I prefer hooker. You could put on an x-pipe, but you wouldn't have any ground clearance, and it's not really needed until you're putting out lots of power (LB9's don't put out that kind of power), and you would have dual exhaust which is not necessary on your engine. You will feel a power gain with the cat-back, but you'll really feel it once you get headers on since the stock manifolds are junk.
