i am in the midst of putting a set of heddman hedders and Y pipe on my 84Z28 and, its going incredibly smoothly, i had heard stories about people having to move steering columns and all other sorts of stuff all i had to do was bend a brake line, they look great, the only thing that pissed me off was that some of the pipes on the system didnt fit quite well, and my hads got kinda bloody but o'well chicks dig scars,hehe, anyone thinking of hedders go for it!!

 

do you have A/C. and if so what is the mod needed for the bracket to get the headers to fit?

just asking because they are the ones that i am looking at buying

 

Basically, cut the rear "arm" of the bracket off. That's what I had to do, and the hedders even came with instructions on how and where to cut.
