Time to finish the exhaust off

Ok so my 3year anniver. is coming up with my fiance, and she said that she wants to get me headers.. LOL can you beleive it... But anywhere I kinda narrowed it down to Edelbrock's or Hooker 2055's. But I just cant decide. I know, I know you guys are gonna say ceramic coated, but shes only a paralegal and gets underpaid by her boss so I dont wanna kill her on the headers so im fine with reg. black painted headers... All any recommendations would be gr8... Oh its for a 89 305 TBI... And it has all the stock A.I.R stuff on it which I cant take off DAM YOU PHILA, DAM YOU!!!! I cant even touch the heat riser!!!! So Thanx guys....

Hooker, I wish I had gotten them instead of Edelbrock.

I'd go with the hookers. If you can get a good y-pipe welded up you could go with the 2466's coated ($320 shipped), otherwise the 2055's uncoated are about that. If you do decide to go with the 2055's though, you should remove all the paint off them, sandblast them, wipe them down with solvent and spray some vht high temp header paint on them (do a search and you'll find all the specifics).
BTW, my parents bought me headers for a graduation present...

I hear Hooker makes better headers, and edels don't flow as well.
