hey dudes, i was wondering if the stock exhaust system from a 95 Z28 would fit my 84 Z28, just from about the cat back, so i can have some decent flow from the bigger pipe and the ability to sneek out untill i get my new muffler?? i could prolly get one for free so tell if it will work thanks

arent the cars pretty much the same, thats how it seams so i figured that the exhaust would be the same for the both of them, or at least close enough to where i can use the one from the newer car to get some better flow, i might just have to find out the hard way, well see and ill keep ya guys posted on if it works or not, thanks

 

No, they're totally different body styles.

 

lol i meant chassis wise, like the trannys and drivelines are interchangable, the rear ends are interchangable, most underneath are alike, but has anyone ever attempted to do this type of exhaust swap?

 

waddya got to lose if the system is free? Can you get both cars on a lift and check it out? Have you asked a muffler shop? Some parts probably do interchange
