Ok, someone else said their system had this same dent, and it looks kinda like it was made that way.... I don't think I'm gonna do anything about it. I can't get a good pic of it to show how small it is, all the angles either make it look really really nasty or not even there. And there's no way you can play any game besides DDR on that pad, it's impossible... I tried GT2, I was done after about 5 seconds

Its just seems like crap from this angle, and the way the light is hitting it, but it might be true like someone said to have them put that on there on purpose, its just looks unprofessional looking on that pic.

Mine came with a dent to. When I had it installed they told me they would have to dent that pipe and then they told me that it was already dented and they didn't have to touch it. That tiny dent isn't a real big deal, especially with a 305.
umm that dent isnt suposed to be there. my pipe didnt come with that at all. i had no dents in any of my pipes. and that dent isnt for clearence or anything, thats probably a screw up by the shipping company. id call hooker and tell them about it.

Mine came with a dent also. So, I'm guessing that they're supposed to be there, or something is hitting every single pipe in the fab process.
