Help Installing a Hooker Catback

Ok i have had it for a while and decided to mess with installing it. it doesnt look like the exhaust mounts are gonna work with it. did it work with you guys factory exhaust hangers (where the tailpipes and the pipe into the muffler attach) it doesnt look like mine are gonna work with the catback, just 1 of them even comes close. maybe my exhaust hanger has been changed on the drivers side??? can anyone post a pic of their exhaust hangers that hold the muffler/tailpipes on? right now i have one that is like loops with a hole and screw that goes through it and the other is a square rubber piece that a piece of metal slid through. thanks

The pass side hanger doesn't work, you'll have to get another one.

ok you can keep the drivers side mount, thats still good. for the other one, take ou the slidding metal peice, and then take a U clamp ( you know the ones for clamping the exhaust togeather), then slide that through the very very top of where the slidding metal hanger was, then your passenger side pipe has a tab on it with 2 holes, pick a hole to your liking and then put the nuts on it and tighten her up.

thanks guys, so i should just use a U clamp to secure the passengers side to the mount? i was thinking of finding another mount like the drivers side but that sounds feasable too.

i just cut the hanger off the original tailpipe, drilled 2 holes in it, bolted that to the bracket on the new pipe. I've had it on for almost a year now and no problems, best of all it was free and didn't require an extra trip to the parts store.
