Ok. I am getting headers this week (most likely tomorrow) and was wondering. What sire pipe should I get? Also should I get shorties or long tube? I am making my own dual setup (I know, There is no use for duals when I can get a single pipe cat back) but I want duals. I am thinking of just headers into mufflers in the turn downs. exit would be about under the tranny. I was told that I would get to much fumes and get sick from it so now I am thinking about exits infront of the rear wheel. Later on mold the exit into some ground effects.

I drag race this about weekly and I also have it as a daily driver! I am not worried about the sound police or the noises.

I have seen your car. It looks good! I am doing that same setup but I wont have the pipes between the headers and mufflers. I am using dynomax headers straight into cherry bomb turbo mufflers. Will ground clearance be a problem with 225 50 15s in the front and 225 60 r 15s in the rear? I will find a way to tie the system up too!!! With turndowns will fumes be a problem? Will it be nice and loud? I want long tubes but do I have to modify anything on the car to get it to fit? Like bend the floor pans? Did you gain alot of power? I would be able to unbolt the mufflers at the track if I wanted to (doubt I will).

I went out and bought my dynomax headers tonight. They are the shorties. I like the look so far, lol. I am trying to figure out what kind of exhaust I can do. I also bought to Thrush turbo mufflers. I am wondering if I can just bring them down and mount them under the Tranny. I want a :hail: LOUD sounding exhaust.

Anyone have any ideas? Also what kind of power will I gian from this and do you think this will help me ETs? I only run 15.7 right now. I think its in the gears though.
