Anyone have any pictures of the mufflex 4" single hideaway tailpipe???

I'll be building my motor (385 cu. in. looking for 450 - 500 hp) this summer and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing with the exhaust. I really want to run hooker supercomps but I'm not sure if I want to deal with the hassles of true duals. I'll be looking into the mufflex setup a lot but it's hard for me to justify paying $100 extra for dual tailpipes and decreased flow. At the same time I just plain don't like single tailpipes or even SLP's dual on the left on our cars, it just looks unbalanced to me. My tailpipes right now aren't very visible so I'm hoping the mufflex single is actually a hideaway style like they say. Thanks.

So anyways, the picture don't do it justice. When you get the system and install it the way they have it setup, it's not hidden very well. Use custom hangers and you can make it tight. You can't even tell I've go t 4 inches of sewer tube under there until your literally under the car.

It sounds really good to. My friend just put a zz430 in his 87 iroc and put the hooker supercomp fulllenth headers with the mufflex off road y pipe and the 4 inch setup it looks just like the white car in the pic same color and same wing

Hey gues quick question. I've been trying to get a hold of mufflex but they still haven't answered. Anywho I've got global west subframe connectors on my camaro will the mufflex system still fit on my car?
Thanks any help is greatly appreciated.

The system should run parrallel with the connectors. They only go over the cats, usually.

Well, your asking if the mufflex system will work with lyour subframe connectors. What I'm saying is they should. The cat back system should not cross the subframes. Unless of course they are the diamond shaped ones. The only portion of sub frames that I've ever seen com near the exhaust is where the cross over the top of the Cats. Now the diamond shaped ones are different and I have no clue on that. Hope that helps a littl e more.

ok, here's either a million dollar question or a stupid one. what y-pipe do you put on the front of that exhaust system? it would seem pointless to me to have a 4" catback if you only have a 3" y-pipe and cat. does mufflex have a 4" y-pipe?

Its called the mufflex off road y pipe and i dont think that is a catback exhaust. the y-pipe goes from the headers to the rearend then ties in to one pipe then it goes over the rear end into a 4-inch flowmaster and has one hideaway pipe that comes out the muffler
