stephen, I've been following the progress of your car quite a bit and *cough* stealing *cough* some of your ideas Tough break with your motor...thinking about dropping in a big block? I'd sure like too, but I just don't have the money for that...probably going to do a nice stout 383 buildup this winter myself. Good luck with your project

 

I think I'll be buying BadSS's headers if the engine deal goes through. I can easily sell my Hedman 1 5/8 full lengths.

383: Heads build power. Good bottom end builds reliability. But then they aren't designed to spin to 6500 with stock rod bolts
