Jet-Hot should coat them for ya for about $180 or so. The consensus is that coated is always better then uncoated.

-Lower temps
-Higher Flow
-Better looks

....it's a win-win situation.

If I had to do over again with the headers off I would save to get it done. It's worth it. I can't tell you how many wires I've burnt from them coming close to the headers. Though looms and wire separators help, they still seem to find their way with them Edels.

Cridom,
Make sure you clean all of the rust off of them, inside and out. You need them to be very clean before they are coated.

Jet-Hot will clean them before coating, also. Don't just throw em on cause you want the performance now. Coating headers is one of the best investments you can make. Save yourself future problems.
