i need to know if it is possible to have long tube with a 5 speed and use the single exhaust from the cat back

You will need a custom Y pipe I beleive.

 

Long tube headers in a third gen are not designed for street use. A custom exhaust will need to be fabricated. Ground clearance becomes a problem on some cars.

I've installed Hooker LT's on a 4th gen before. You WILL have to make a trip to the local muffler shop after you're done. They had to make a totally custom Y-pipe for it. IRS sells a Y-pipe for 4th gen, but it still didn't work.
