recently i purchased a catco cat. need some help with installation. the car has edelbrock
tubular headers with a 3" thrush catback. the problem is the aftermarket cat clamps on vs the oem bolt in. what would be the best way to install this cat? i would really hate to cut the header pipe as they are very expensive and also the catback pipe to make this cat fit? i contacted edelbrock tech to see if possibly there is some type of adapter to mount this cat and they said nothing out there that they know of. i do want a professional installation. i know the best way is to purchase a gm cat but a little cost prohibitive as gm wants $400.00
any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance
