i have slp 1 3/4 headers, but later after the new motor gets drop in i would like to change the exhaust. i absolutely hate the exhaust design on these cars, i hit the stupid y-pipe on everything.
i think longtubes will hang down to low too. (i can get some cheap though)
anyone try shorties and maybe bullet mufflers and have them exit before the rear wheels?

anyone ever try that oval pipe for car with clearance problems?

 

i just got side exit exaust put on my car while i got the headers put on. the only mufflers that would alow it though were glasspacks. at first i was kinda leary to put glasspacks on but i went ahead and did and im pretty much pleased with it. has a nice deep rumble to it. there is a 2 1/4 pipe that exits before each rear tire. also i have no cats. the muffler shop must have forgot to put them on, they also forgot to charge me for em. i thought it was illegal for them to put exaust with no cats. oh well, thats just more power
