My reply to it: use no muffler and no cat or a gutted cat. Also having no muffler is illegal and a gutted or missing cat is also illegal. Glasspacks are loud and sound cool if you want a muffler. Get a full 3" single exhaust or dual 2.5"s. Not a 1 1/2" like that one guy said.

Hey Monkie, I didn't know You were in good ol' SC! I'm in florence, SC, bo! (had to call You bo at least once)anyway.. My exhaust is what I've done the most experimenting with. I have a 91 RS which sounded like granny's buick when I bought it.. and sue Me for saying so, but the 5.0 mustang sound was what I always loved..(please don't dawg me for that) so, I've tried turbo's, glasspacks, cat vs. no cat, etc, etc.... and what I have now is the best sound I've had yet. Headers into the stock Y pipe and a flowmaster 2 chamber where the converter was with a turndown on it. It's loud, rude, raspy, tinny, everything this guy wants. The sound "bounces" off of cars when they are next to You.. it's everything a ******* could ever want! (J/K) I've never heard of it being illegal to not have a muffler...it's only for sound levels..and if that's illegal, then I want to see EVERY harley off the road! Ya'll know what I mean, right? Those things are obnoxiously loud! I can't believe You could get pulled for sound levels by a cop on a loud harley! What's up with that? anyway.. If He's looking for rudely loud, that's My silly input. c ya! Brant

Yeah, I got a ticket for no muffler before. They're no fun. Like $115. Those Harleys should be illegal if we can't do it. Damn government.
