I just bought mine from a guy whose got a whole pile of them. They were in a wharehouse fire so they looked kind of rough when I got them, but a little sandblasting and polishing and they look great. I'm gonna put them in this weekend. I paid $200 US for them without a y-pipe, just gonna get one made by the local muffler shop. Here's his email adress, Ricc152@yahoo.com, I think he's still got a bunch, he's from New Jersey.

Those are the one's I put on my car about a month and a half ago. I hope to get some new times tonight finally, so stay tuned for an update.

Oh, BTW, the quality of them was good but not as good as I expected considering that they used to sell for $600. There were welds on the inside of the primaries that needed to be ground down, and I had to do a lot of prying on them to get the bolt holes to line up just right. But, I didn't have the problems most people do with the install. I didn't have to unhook the steering linkage, or move brake lines or anything. Just had to unbolt the motor mount and jack up the driver's side a little bit and they both slid in from the top.

Get a new motor mount for the drivers side. Its only $25 and it will save you a headache down the line. Take the manifolds off first, then change the motor mount, then while you have the engine jacked up to change the mount slide the header into place and say thanks to all the good people who gave you advice. Mine were a PAIN IN THE A$S.

A new motor mount will not always keep you from having problem with the SLP headers. My car has never been seriously wrecked and with both new motor mounts I still had to dimple the tube next to the steering shaft. Not to say any thing about having to grind the starter slightly and dimple the collector on the other side which definitely has nothing to do with motor mounts or the subframe.

Good Luck

Hey, i contacted the guy with the fire dammaged slp header (i want ones with a.i.r. tubes buy that's not important). i was wondering, since i don't have an slp catalogue, if someone could tell me how much the installation kit costs (the hardware so you can use all your factory brakets and stuff) and how much an slp y-pipe would cost.

thanks
