Old cat back removal...
Old cat back removal...
Hey guys, well I just got my new system in the mail, and am probably going to put it in some time this week. I was just wondering how hard will it be to take of the old exhaust system, what should I use to take it off?? Any tips or tricks?? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I had to cut mine in several places just so I wouldn't have to try to snake it around the axle. Other than that, its pretty easy to take off. You'll probably have to spay some WD-40 on the bolts to loosen them up.

A good 18V cordless DeWalt sawzall is my best friend when it comes to taking off rusty exhaust systems
! If you don't plan on re-using the stock exhaust system, cut it so you can get it out easier, but wear a face mask and some safety goggles. You may want to squirt the bolts with some Liquid Wrench and let it sit overnight to make your life less miserable too.
