Dynomax Ultra Flow
Has anybody tried these, how do they sound? I currently have their Super Turbo and it sounds exactly like the stock muffler. I want a lower tone but very little interior noise. Would a straight through design give me what I want, maybe Edelbrock's RPM series. I don't like the sound of chambered mufflers, would these sound similar. What would give me a lower tone with little interior noise at highway speeds, and sounds strong at WOT? Thanks
My brother put one on his 99 firebird TA, it is louder than stock but not by much, it is a very clean sound that makes the car sound like it should have from the factory. If you want a more noise look some where else. Hope this helps yah out.
PS---his et's droped .24 sec with just the muffler.

I have a Dynomax Super Turbo cat-back on my '87 IROC and it sounded stock at first too. After a month or 2, it loosened up and now it sounds wonderful.
A very deep sound (lower tone) with a nice growl to it. Not annoying on the highway at all, but it gets loud enough to hear it when I open up the throttle.
