open exhaust from driver's seat?

open exhaust from driver's seat?
Is there a way to do this? Me and a few friends were thinking that you may be able to rig it up so you could open your exhaust with a lever or something from the driver's seat. You can have the quiet exhaust you may want but still be able to open it up and scare ricers or some 'Stangs. What do you guys think of this? Possible?

Mr. Gasket makes an exhaust cut out that is operated by a cable. It is about $50 from Jegs and can be put anywhere in your exhaust system. I'm not sure on the available sizes but it wouldn't be that difficult to fab up a lever to open them up.
