Edelbrock RPM Cat-back?

im looking at buying a cat back system from edelbrock for my 86 228 (part #5673) is this a good quality exhaust? also, i want to either replace my cat or take it out completely, and just put some sort of pipe or something in its place, any suggestions on how i might do this so i can put the cat on when i have to go though emissions tests?

It's a decent exhaust, but I'd get the Hooker cat-back, it's cheaper and sounds better. Just have a pipe made to bolt in where your cat is.
