possible leak

I've got the TES system. Since installation a ticking noise can be heard under acceleration. All the blots are tight at the heads and collectors. They are only about four months old so gaskets ahouldn't be a problem. The ticking is definitly coming from front of the car and can not be heard at idle. Only accelereation. Anyone have any ideas?

There's a small leak around the flange somewhere. Either you can wait until some black exhaust stains show up to tell you where it's leaking or take off the headers and look for the tell-tale burning around the gasket. I've used ultra-high temp RTV sealant with success when I had a slightly warped header flange.

When you take your headers off, put a straight edge across the flange to check for warping. Still, if it's leaking, you'll see where the gasket's burning.
