Edelbrock headers and header wrap?

Will a set of Edelbrock tes headers last long if you use header wrap on them. Are they thick enough to handle the extra heat?

I use it on mine. No problems yet. It does lower the temperature and you wont burn yourself too severe.

I heard that the header wrap will end up rusting ur headers out, something to do with the moister, but thats just what I have heard. Someone might have a logical explanation for it.

No, Edelbrock headers are not thick enough to handle header wrap. Many header manufacturers specifically say not to use it. Get them coated instead. Even better, upgrade them to SLP headers from the GP.
