I ordered a set of SLP headers the other week from summit. I first e-mailed them and got a reply saying the shipping was about $130. I was happy with this and phoned to place an order and was told shipping was $180. I told the guy that I was informed it would be $130 so he went away from the phone maybe to speak to someone and said "yes we can ship for $130". I have just checked with them and they have charged me $190 shipping. Is this unfair or what? Will my bank help me with this ? What happens if a company says they will charge you x on the phone and actually charges your card y?
I also think it is unfair that they charge $25 for all overseas orders. What is this all about? All they have to do different from shipping in the US is stick a form on the package saying what the value of the goods are which their carier supplies them with.

This would be better on the aftermarket review board. But ouch, I didn't realize where you were from at first, and was like $130 for shipping WTF??

Anyways, you can cancel your order I would think, and try to get a hold of a supervisor.

 

received the headers today and they have not put a figure in the shipping section but at the bottom of the invoice it says 'Ok to ship via DHL - quoted $130 - Bruce' cheers Bruce!
