How much is a bender, and how hard is it to use? I have ALOT of exaust crap to do, and I was wondering if just buying a lower end bender would be cheaper.

I've tried that..the problem is it just gets kinked in the middle. I can't get it smooth.

 

fill it with shot, from a sand blast supplier, duct tape the ends, it'll help prevent the pipe from wrinkling.

Go down to the local muffler shop and ask the proprieter how much he paid for his pipe bending machine.

Years and years ago, muffler shops and car parts stores would have a big assortment of pipe elbows of various diameters and angles. It's hard to find such fittings anymore.
